Tranmere story
Georges Santos is a former Cape Verde international defender and midfielder, born in Marseille. He began his senior career with Toulon before moving to England with Tranmere Rovers in 1998. Santos later represented West Bromwich Albion, Sheffield United, Grimsby Town, Ipswich Town and Queens Park Rangers, followed by spells with Brighton & Hove Albion and several non-league clubs. After playing, he moved into football scouting.
